I was told today that i am acting like i am better than everyone lately and that im changing my personality. It took me by surprise, but this was coming from my most recent ex. Which led me to realize the lesson of the day
Life Lesson #3 of 2012: Pride yourself in your work. It’s not WRONG to be self-righteous and cocky when you know you are doing a good job.
Im the last person to be cocky about things, but i have figured since it’s the new year, i got accepted into a great college (CMU), i am having people actually contacting me to DJ parties, and im single, there is no reason NOT to be happy and pride myself in my work and accomplishments. I really wont let her ruin my attitude, i know im not a cocky person to the point where im disliked. I love too many people and put other first always.
I got a message from my year long ex today. first time we have talked in a LOOOOONG time. She sent me a number and a fbook link to a guy who is looking for a DJ in Anchor Bay. Admittedly i do miss her…a little…but im glad she gave me a shout out.
Truthfully, does any of my followers think its WRONG to be cocky and pride yourself in work?
